How Long Does Shipping Take from Shockwarehouse?

One of the most common questions we get is about shipping and delivery times. Here's everything you need to know about how quickly your order will ship and when to expect it at your door.

Order Processing and Same-Day Shipping Cutoff

Shockwarehouse processes and ships orders on business days (Monday through Friday). Here's how the timing works:

  • Orders placed before 2:00 PM Eastern Time on a business day are processed and typically ship the same day.
  • Orders placed after 2:00 PM Eastern Time will be processed the next business day.
  • Orders placed on weekends or holidays will begin processing on the next business day (usually Monday).

Example: If you place an order at 5:00 PM on a Thursday, it would process on Friday and ship from there. If you place an order at 1:00 PM on a Thursday, it could ship that same day.

Shipping Methods and Transit Times

Once your order has shipped and you've received a tracking number, transit time depends on the shipping method you selected at checkout and your distance from the shipping warehouse. Most orders ship via FedEx.

  • Standard Ground Shipping: Typically 2–7 business days in transit, depending on your location.
  • Expedited / Next Day Shipping: 1–2 business days in transit after the order has been processed and shipped. Remember, the transit clock starts after the order ships — not when you place it.

Important note about expedited shipping: Selecting "next day" shipping means the package will be delivered the next business day after it ships. If you place an order after 2:00 PM, the order won't ship until the next business day, so the delivery will be the business day after that. Plan accordingly if you're on a tight timeline.

Split Shipments

Some orders ship from different warehouse locations or directly from the manufacturer (such as Bilstein). This means you may receive your order in multiple shipments on different days. Each shipment will have its own tracking number. If you receive one box but are expecting more items, check your email for additional tracking information.

Backorder Delays

If an item is on backorder from the manufacturer, it may take longer than usual to ship. We'll notify you if any items on your order are backordered and provide an estimated availability date when possible. You can always cancel backordered items for a full refund if you'd prefer not to wait. See our article What Happens When Parts Are on Backorder at Shockwarehouse for more details.

Tracking Your Order

Once your order ships, you'll receive an email with tracking information. You can use the tracking number to monitor your shipment's progress directly through the carrier's website (usually FedEx).

If you haven't received tracking information within 2 business days of placing your order (accounting for the 2:00 PM cutoff), contact us:
