Plans change — and sometimes you need to cancel an order before it arrives. Whether you selected the wrong part, found a different solution, or simply changed your mind, here's how order cancellations work at Shockwarehouse.
It depends on where your order is in the fulfillment process:
The sooner you reach out, the better. Orders placed during business hours can begin processing quickly, so contacting us within a few hours gives us the best chance to catch it before it ships.
Contact our customer service team and include your order number (starts with "S"):
Our team will confirm whether the order can be cancelled and process the cancellation for you.
When an order is cancelled before it ships, you'll receive a full refund. Here's what to expect:
When you place an order, your bank or credit card company places a temporary authorization hold on the purchase amount. This is not an actual charge — it's a hold to verify the funds are available.
If the order is cancelled before it ships:
Tip: If the pending charge hasn't dropped after 7 business days, contact your bank directly and reference the voided transaction. You can also reach out to us and we'll provide a cancellation confirmation.
In most cases, there is no fee to cancel an order that hasn't shipped. However, please note:
If the order has already been delivered, it's no longer a cancellation — it's a return. Shockwarehouse offers a 45-day return window from the date you receive your order. Visit our Returns page to submit a Return Authorization Request, or see our article: How to Return or Exchange Parts at Shockwarehouse.
If you're unsure whether your order can still be cancelled, just reach out. Our customer service team is happy to check the status and walk you through your options.
